The Glen Grant distillery was established in Rothes, Scotland, in 1840 by brothers John and James Grant. In 1872, James Grant’s son took over the distillery. Since 2006, it now belongs to the Campari Group. Campari is an Italian company that ranks among the sixth largest suppliers of spirits in the world. At the same time, Dennis Malcolm was appointed Master Distiller, celebrating 60 years in the Scotch whisky industry in 2021.

Since 2016, the 12-year-old Glen Grant has been part of Grant’s standard bottling, complementing their 10-year-old Speyside Malt.

Tasting notes:

Color: Light amber.

Nose: Fruity, spicy, varied aromas, pears, apples, citrus, almonds, vanilla notes.

Taste: Soft, voluminous, spicy oak, caramel, vanilla, apple pie.

Finish: Long lasting.
