A.H. Riise NON PLUS ULTRA Black Edition Rum – Old Edition 42% Vol. 0,7l +GB

189,90
The distillery A.H. Riise is located on St. Thomas Island, an American Virgin Island in the Caribbean.
Before this island became an American territory, it was a Danish colony.
Around the 1840s, the pharmacist Albert Heinrich was not only allowed to open a pharmacy but also to produce alcohol.

The term ‘Non Plus Ultra’ comes from Roman mythology. The Heracles columns, which were built near the Strait of Gibraltar, mark the border of the end of the world.
This rum honours nothing else but the term ‘no more’/’nothing beyond’.
The A.H. Riise Non Plus Ultra BLACK EDITION is a special version of the Non Plus Ultra Rum.
Only the best and oldest rums from A.H. Riise’s stock are used, including charred oak barrels (black barrels).
